Manoeuvres: Step 11 - Stopping On The Right
This exercise was introduced to the driving test in 2017 and is designed to test a range of control and (especially) observation and judgement, skills.
You must take the utmost care not to inconvenience other road users during this manoeuvre - the most likely ADI Part-Two errors would be for not taking effective observation.
Study stopping on the right at DriverActive and then complete the project
Complete this manoeuvre a couple of times in a quiet location - noticing just how much observation is needed to be 100% sure that the road is clear all around - just like in car parks..
After your first practise session read the DriverActive notes again and ask yourself whether you are completing the right-reverse correctly.
This is the end of the Manoeuvres unit - and - if you have been following the course sequentially, the end of your driving study (at least for now!)
