DVSA Official info and other important start up information

Scroll down to view the official information and other links relating to your registration - including a link for online registration.

You will find information from the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) concerning training and qualifying to become a Driving Instructor.

The DVSA is part of the Department of Transport and is responsible for conducting the examinations that you will take.

It is also responsible for the Register of Approved Driving Instructors which you will be entered onto when you qualify.

The pack contains sections covering all the main areas of qualifying from choosing a trainer, to how to claim compensation if the DVSA cancels a test appointment.

Next: If you have not already done so, now is a good time to get organised.

Get a ring-binder, pocket file or similar folder to keep all your study print-outs in. Print out your log sheets and file them ready for use (completing any notes on the course so far).

When you have organised your materials move on to the next unit which considers just how good you are at learning, even though you might not realise it!
