Who are we?

Standards Check Success from SmartDriving is part of the watch.learn.drive. group which is the largest trainer of new Driving Instructors in the UK, providers of continual professional development (CPD) and advanced training and coaching for the driver training industry and apps and training products for learner drivers.

SmartDriving have been providing Driver Training for over 40 years and are one of the UK’s largest driver training resources for learners and driver trainers.

watch.learn.drive’s team is made up of over 60 ADIs and trainers with decades and decades of experience in the driving training industry.
 
We have been providing Driver Training for over 40 years and are one of the UK’s largest driver training companies providing training and resources for learners, driving schools, driver trainers and trainee instructors.
 
The 3 directors (and those that appear in the videos) are Graham Lucas, John Farlam and Adam Bragg.
 

Training Principal and founder of SmartDriving, John Farlam – leading driver training expert and much revered ‘Guru’ – has developed a ‘Success Based’ coaching model and has been delivering ‘MasterClasses’ to the industry helping driving instructors and Driving Instructor Training companies develop the industry’s leading trainers.

 

 
John has been involved in many of the major Driving Schools and Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) trainers in the UK and has produced training literature for companies like LDC, LetsDrive, The Instructor College, and many, many more driving schools. Over 4000 driving schools/ADIs in the UK regularly use SmartDriving’s training, coaching and resources.

John is a regular contributor to the UKDIC and ADI NJC as an expert speaker on coaching and driver training, is a columnist for the industry magazine, ADINews, and has been involved with a number of coaching projects with industry leaders such as Sir John Whitmore and Dr Will Passmore.
 
 
 

John was also a founding member of the pioneering ‘Tri-Coaching Partnership’ developing better training and coaching techniques amongst Driving Instructors.

In 2015, SmartDriving became the ONLY company to win 3 Prestigious ‘Golden L Plate Awards’, but also the 1st and ONLY company to retain an award too.
