So with the £1,699 price you commit to train, complete the Trainee Licence and work with us for 12 months following qualification with our driving school, DRIVE. A weekly franchise fee and Full terms apply*.

* The £1,699 Train & Teach with Us course option price is available to trainees who commit to joining our driving school, DRIVE’s Trainee Licence and franchise programme.
A weekly franchise fee of £109 applies from commencement of the Trainee Licence and a minimum term of 12 months once qualified. This means you only pay the franchise fee after you start earning.

This is the most comprehensive yet most simple way to train as a driving instructor.

What you will need to do our course

To be able to complete iCoursePro you will need:

Internet connection – 2MBPS wifi or 3G is adequate.
The latest version of your device’s Operating System and browser – this should be updated free of charge from your service providers. Check yours here:
A PDF reader. Adobe Reader is excellent – and is free. Get the latest version here.
A printer – the brilliant HP deskjet range is available from Tesco for £24.99 (you will need a printer for life as an ADI)
Paper and ink – Tesco offer the HP ink at just £7-10 and a ream of paper for just £2.50. Setting your printer to ‘draft’ or ‘rough’ will avoid wasting ink.

During your course, you will need to print a few sheets of paper.
You will be required to submit some iCoursePro work to us. The deskjet printer above has a scanner. To scan and email is free and fairly easy to do.

All the units, sections and modules are in a ‘step-by-step’ format, so as long as you can read, you can complete the course with ease. Just follow the instructions.

Time with our Specialist trainers

*You may have spotted asterisks above. You have purchased our iCoursePro product which is an online integrated training program and if you meet our course terms and conditions (given below), we will provide up-to 76 hours of face-to-face training with one of our Specialist Trainers at no extra cost.

To maximise your chances of success (and to also validate our course guarantees), we want you to complete and submit your course work and achieve certain targets within certain time-frames. We know from our many, many years of experience in this industry that taking longer than an ‘academic year’ of 9 months will diminish your chances of success, so:

1. You must pass the Part 1 test within 5 months of starting your course. You must submit the iCourse Theory material before you go to the test.
2. Within 8 months of starting your course,. You must submit all of of your iCoursePro work to us before we will deliver any practical training.

Without this, we cannot be certain of your readiness for the modules we will cover in the face-face sessions nor your ability for the test. If you do not submit your course work in full and in the above time frames, you will not entitled to any face-face-training free of charge, as per your course terms.
