The training and tests are not difficult and most people will actually enjoy training, but you will need to work hard.

Step 2 - Legal Process

This is in 3 steps and can be done as you study:

  1. Legal Check List
  2. Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
  3. DVSA Registration

Step 3 - DVSA Tests

The DVSA ADI Examination process to become a Driving Instructor, is in 3 parts:

  1. A Theory and Hazard Perception Test
  2. A Driving Ability Test
  3. A Test of Instructional Ability

Step 4 - Training for the Tests

You can train to become a Driving Instructor with many different companies.

But all companies such as The AA, RED, BSM, LDC etc.. and us, must cover certain subjects to prepare you for the examination process.

We will go into what is required for each part of the training.
