Introduction

On the face of it, giving route directions is straightforward enough, you simply say "Turn right", "Turn left" and so on...

However, the way in which you give your directions can drastically affect the outcome of your lessons.

Strictly speaking, there is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to give route directions. The important thing is that your customers should clearly understand exactly what is required when a route direction is given.
