Experience through doing
The fact that people remember things best when they experience them demonstrates just how important it is to experience your new found knowledge by putting it into practice wherever possible.
One place where it will always be possible is by integrating the information about driving and driving attitudes into your daily driving. That way you get to experience it for real.
Driving example
Here's another example that you can 'visualise', and then integrate into your driving (we'll leave you to find the correct answer!).
First study the information linked below (seven web pages) then visualise each answer to the question, considering the potential dangers as you do so.
Finally adopt the correct behaviour as part of your normal driving!
Flashing headlights should only be used:
a. as a courtesy when another driver gives you priority
b. to warn other drivers of your presence on the road
c. when you intend to give way to other road users
d. when slowing down rapidly on dual-carriageways

Incidentally, the answer to the question above is absolute! No 'but sometimes its OK to...'. It's important that you recognise the risks of certain driver behaviour and eliminate them from your driving, otherwise you will simply be passing dangerous habits and attitudes on to your customers.
