Introduction to the main study units
In this unit you will learn how to complete the main study units for maximum success.
As we will remind you later, it is probably the most important unit in the theory course because it shows you how to complete the rest of the course.
You will be:
- Finding out why we use paper based question questions rather than on screen tests.
- Completing a starter project designed to help you to fully understand how the main study units work.
- Completing two DVSA on screen car test exams
For many people, the thought of a 'test' sets the nerves jangling! But nerves needn't be a problem for any part of your exam as long as you are well prepared.
If you feel uncertain about the answers to any of the questions as you complete your study, simply that you are not actually doing 'tests'. You are simply answering the questions as a basis for learning and development. Every time you find something you don't know, you have a real opportunity to learn something new!
By the time you take Part-One of the exam, you will be well prepared and so there will be no need for anything other than minor 'test nerves' – these are healthy and will help to keep you on your toes!
Each of your main study units covers a range of information designed to help you discover what you already know and then to develop that knowledge further.
