Paper based study downloads
Before you get down to 'serious' work with Study Unit No. 1, we have provided a 'Study Unit Starter Pack'.
In the next step you will download and print this pack which has just five questions. The pack is designed to show you how to go about answering our questions as a basis for your study.
Working through the Study Unit Starter before getting started the main units will ensure that you know exactly how to gain the greatest advantage from the course.
Your DVSA exam, will be done on-screen rather than on paper.
To get a sense of the on-screen test you can visit the Safe Driving for Life web site. Sample ADI tests are not available on the site, however you can look at tests for Car Learners, Motorcycles, Bus and Large Vehicles. We will give you the link later in this unit.
The reason that we use paper based packs which you can download and print out is that they are better suited for learning (as opposed to testing) – you can scribble on them, make notes, etc., and you are not tied to a computer - with a print out and a few study books you can study anywhere.
Make sure that you fully understand how to use the study units before moving on by fully completing the exercise in this unit.
Next: Move on to Step 3 and complete the study starter project.
