Getting motivated - introduction
One of the most powerful ways to accelerate your training is to understand your motivation in as much detail as possible.
Remember that the best approach to qualification is treating the exam as a whole (not three separate, unrelated tests) - by understanding the information here you will lay the foundations for the rest of your learning.
At the moment you perhaps have a good idea of what is motivating you to succeed, however, by spending a little time writing out your 'key motivators' will help your study.
At times, as with anything new, you will encounter 'difficult bits' – these could be bits of the course that take a while to understand, pressure on your time, family demands, problems in other areas of your life and so on...
But when the going gets tough... The 'motivated' keep going!
This unit will take you through 12 steps towards understanding exactly what you are doing and why you are doing it – it will help you to recognise that you already have the resources required for success.
As a bonus, working through the Getting Motivated section will also help you to learn a lot about motivation as a subject in itself ... Your ability to motivate pupils will be a key quality of your work and the foundation of a successful business – your motivational skill will have a direct impact on your earnings.
