Introducing lessons - Lesson choice example & Checklist
Checklist
You have now completed the Introducing Lessons Unit and should have gained the skills required for success.
There is no specific project for this section but you should practise giving random lesson introductions using the VTS as a subject guide. Remember that learning set introductions by rote is NOT a good idea - simply get used to the process and practise...
Questions: Download your question sheet here. You should be able to answer the questions easily - if you are unsure about any answers you need more study/practice.
After completing the questions check your answers with our example answers - your key points should be similar. Click here for our example answers.
Before moving on make sure that you:
- You understand the importance of a good lesson introduction
- You know the purpose of each of the elements that go together to make a good lesson introduction
- You understand the difference between an exam lesson introduction given at the test centre and starting a lesson from scratch.
When you are confident that you have achieved the points above, complete your study log before moving on.
Use the drop down menu at the top of the page to select your next subject.
