Show me / Tell me
Show me / Tell me questions asked during Part-Two are similar to those asked on L tests.
Scroll down this panel to read the notes and then look through the 19 sample questions on the right,
The examiner will ask you to describe how to perform a check on the condition and safety of three components of the vehicle and demonstrate an actual check on the condition of a further two components.
The questions are fairly straightforward and if you are mildly interested in cars, or have passed ADI Part-One they should pose no problem for you. The questions given below are not designed to be learnt by rote, but rather to give you an idea of the examiner's wording and the level of detail required.
As with any part of the exam, you might scrape through with 'rote learning' and you might not. With a very high percentage of instructors dropping out of the business in their first two years, trying to take short-cuts at this stage could cost you dearly later on when a lack of knowledge might lead to a lack of business.
