Recording your achievements

ClipboardAt the end most of the course units you be asked to make sure that you have understood or achieved specific learning targets and complete a Training Achievements Log form.

In addition it will be helpful to refer back to your 'What do you want?' goals and ask yourself the following questions.

  • Have I achieved my goals?

  • What evidence do I have to support my achievement?

  • How will this success affect my future?

You can download a worksheet with a reminder of these questions here or by clicking the image on the right.

If the answer to the first question "Have I achieved my goals?" is no, it simply means that you have a little more work to do – spending a little extra time to get the basics in place now will pay dividends in the future.

If the answer to the first question is yes, then you can move on.

In order to achieve success you must be honest with yourself.

Because of this you will need to justify your decision about how well (or not) you have achieved your goals. The second question requires you to record the evidence.

By writing out your answers to the main questions on the Training Achievements log you will confirm that you have attained you goals.

Last, but not least, spend a little time day-dreaming. How will this particular achievement affect your future? (The final question on the log addresses this)
