Checklist
You have now completed the Bay Parking Unit and should have gained the skills required for success.
Questions: Download your question sheet here. You should be able to answer the five questions easily - if you are unsure about any answers you need more study/practice.
After completing the questions check your answers with our example answers - your key points should be similar. Click here for our example answers.
Before moving on make sure that you:
- Understand the benefits of reversing into bays as opposed to driving in forwards
- Are fully aware of car park dangers
- Maintain full observation when parking (even in an empty cat park), giving way when necessary
- Have completed all the steps in this unit and spent at least forty minutes practising this manoeuvre.
- Have looked at the DriverActive web site and understand the key points required to teach bay parking to learner drivers.
When you are confident that you have achieved the points above, print out and complete your Training Achievements Log before moving on to the next unit.
