Before moving on make sure that you:

• Understand why this manoeuvre is tested at Part-Two level

• Understand the importance of giving way to other drivers when reversing

• Maintain full observation, giving way when necessary

• Have completed all the steps in this unit and spent at least one hour practising this manoeuvre with special attention to observation

• Have looked at the DriverActive web site and understand the key points required to teach reversing to the left to learner drivers.

When you are confident that you have achieved the points above, print out and complete your Training Achievements Log before moving on to the next unit.
