The two-o'clock steering angle
This video demonstrates reversing into a space at a 'two o'clock' angle. We also show you what to do if things go wrong.
Notice on the last clip in the video that you can correct the situation if you find yourself making an error.
But of course it's much better to avoid the error in the first place! On this occasion the driver steered a little too much, probably because he was concentrating solely on the back of the car - glancing around as you reverse will give you a better idea of exactly where the car is in relation to the kerb, you can also use your mirrors to gauge your position (but only quick glances).
Ultimately, the way to avoid errors with this manoeuvre is to get lots of practise - the more you practice, the easier it becomes.
